Legacy Elite Youth Organization

Legacy Elite Academy is determined to develop exemplary student-athletes (in Concord/Kannapolis and surrounding areas) through the disciplined sport of basketball. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that desperately needs your help with our Fundraising Campaigns. 

Legacy Elite Academy is an organization whose mission is driven by a passionate belief that we all have a responsibility to teach young men and women how to become valuable members of the community by instilling in them the values of hard work, honesty, sportsmanship, loyalty, teamwork, and character.

Our basketball program focuses on athletic skill and ability, academic excellence, proper health/fitness, and wellness. While basketball is the vehicle used to get kids into the basketball organization, our ultimate goal is to use this as a gateway to get them involved in our Community Service Outreach, Personal Development, and College readiness programs. We strengthen the athlete and the whole person; by providing the social and academic skills and the work ethic required to succeed in life and add value along the way.

We started the business in 2019 because we saw a need for children with a heart for the sport but not the means to participate in competitive basketball. So instead, we allowed them to sharpen their fundamentals and skills while learning other life skills that will be valuable in life.

We serve youth who are in the 2nd to 12th grades. A majority (80%) of our participants come from low-income communities of color, foster care, or single-parent family backgrounds.

LEGACY ELITE’s goals are to raise funds for the needs associated with our focus areas:

This will enable our outstanding student-athletes to participate, compete and have exposure for future collegian options.

Mobile Grocery Store

• Rental or Purchase of a Service Van

• Lease an office unit for Legacy Elite’s Food Bank
• Male/Female hygiene products

Legacy Elite aims to serve the many rural or low-income communities in the  Concord/Kannapolis area that are “grocery deserts” - devoid of any major grocery stores within a 5-10 miles radius. Our outstanding student-athletes will facilitate this ongoing community service project under the direction of our Legacy Elite Staff.

Legacy Elite College Fund

Many of our extraordinary student-athletes are from low- to lower-middle-income, hard-working families who can't afford to fund their kids' college aspirations. Your financial gift is an investment in the future of deserving but less-fortunate Young Leaders of Tomorrow. Legacy Elite staff will assist with college readiness programs, travel to prospective college tours, and athletic camps.

• ALL-STARS Plus - Premier signage, including your name, logo, and website recognition at all games(per season); personalized signage along the court. Sponsorship announced and recognized during all games (per season)
• An active commercial on our website and social media networks.
• A table of 8 at the annual LEGACY ELITE Thank You Reception.

$1000 - $4999 - ALL-STARS

• MVP Plus - Premier signage including your name, logo, and website recognition at select games; personalized signage along the court at chosen games. Sponsorship is announced at particular games.
• Active banner on the website and all social media.

$500 - $999 - MVP Most Valuable Players

• First Draft Pick plus - Signage placement, including your name, logo, and website recognition at select games.

$499 - $100 - First Draft Pick

• Your name, logo, and website recognition on ALL our social media networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Email Newsletters)
• Your name, logo, and website recognition on the Legacy Elite website
• Invitation to the annual LEGACY ELITE Thank You Reception.

Our Coaching Staff is dedicated to fostering an environment that emphasizes athletic excellence, physical and mental discipline, self-esteem, leadership, sportsmanship and character development. This commitment is essential for each student-athlete to reach their full potential.
